FIRST WORSHIP SERVICE ONLINE

April 4, 2020

Dear friends,

Our first ever online worship service last Sunday was a great reminder of Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” As we enter Holy Week, we hope that you continue to be reminded of the miracle of Jesus Christ, and that because of Him, we are never alone. Seeing everyone congregate online continues to brighten up our spirit and we hope that you all can join us tomorrow for Palm Sunday worship at 11 a.m. As we continue to have worship service online, we will provide you with the login information every Saturday afternoon. Go to our Worship Online page for instructions on how to join via video/phone conference by clicking here.

Blessings,

The Ministerial Team and the Board of Elders/Administrative Board

March 28, 2020

Dear friends,

We hope you are all well and keeping in good spirit. It will be the second week since we’ve had to close Hillcrest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) to practice safe measures due to COVID-19. As we continue to keep in faith, we will be holding modified worship services via video and phone conferences for the next few weeks, or otherwise notified. Please join us Sunday, March 29 for our first online worship service. Visit the Worship Online section of our website: www.hillcrestdisciples.ca/worship for login instructions and the Order of Worship.

We look forward to being online and on the phone with everyone again!

Blessings,

The Ministerial Team and the Board of Elders/Administrative Board

Dear friends,

Hillcrest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) acknowledges the precautionary measures being taken by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Government of Canada to keep everyone healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a community of faith, we also encourage you to reach out to friends and family to ensure they are all safe and well. If you, or anyone you know, is in need of assistance or prayers, please contact an Elder or a member of the Ministerial Team.

If you are experiencing symptoms, contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000, your local public health unit or your primary care physician.

We understand that this can be a very difficult time for many. We are in this together and continue to pray for the strength and healing power of Christ, that we may face whatever adversity we encounter with love and peace.
